  • Fremont Township Democrats February Meeting

    Where:  Lakeside Recreation Center, 900 S. Lake St., Mundelein (small party room) and online via Zoom.
    What: All things political will be discussed, including preparation for the upcoming primaries and how to lay the groundwork for victory in 2024.   • Art Exhibition Showcase for Black History Celebration

    Where: Jack Benny Center for the Arts, 39 Jack Benny Dr., Waukegan

  • Hometown Fundraiser for Arad Boxenbaum, Candidate for State Representative

    When: Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 2:30 to 4:30pm
    Where: Prairie House Tavern, 2710 N. Main St., Buffalo Grove
    What: Fundraiser for Arad Boxenbaum, candidate for State Representative, 83rd District in Kane County. Arad grew up in Buffalo Grove and has been a gun violence prevention activist. A former Tenth Dems intern, Arad moved with his family to Kane County in 2019, was elected to the library board in 2021, and now serves as its vice president.  He has been a leader in their diversity, equity and inclusion policy overhaul.

    What: Due to popular demand, we have asked frequent MSNBC Contributor/Legal Analyst Jill Wine-Banks to speak to us again. And she said yes! Jill was so popular last year that the event completely sold out. We hope you will save the date and join us for this very special evening.
