    What: Join like-minded Democrats in the Highland Park Democratic HQ to bundle postcards into packs of 100 and/or write postcards to swing states, including our neighbor to the north, Wisconsin, with Tenth Dems. Postcards, addresses, and the messages to write will be provided. Come for part of or the entire time. You also can pick up postcards to write at home. Donations of postcard stamps or contributions towards their purchase at tenthdems.org/contribute appreciated. Open to Democrats.

  • Safeguarding Elections in Lake County: A Community Panel

    When: Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 6:00pm

    Where: Online via Zoom

    What: Lake County Clerk Anthony Vega will hold a panel discussion on election integrity and the voting process. Panelists will include State's Attorney Eric Rinehart, and Mano A Mano Director of Policy, Joanna Jaimes.   • Fremont Dems September Meeting

    What: Fremont Township Democrats hold their September meeting to discuss all things political, especially the campaign leading to the November 3, 2026 election. Petition circulation for local elections next April 2027 will also be discussed. Meet at Lakeside Recreation Center, in the small party room, or online via Zoom.     What: Join Students Demand Action NWSC in knocking on doors for State Senate candidate Nabeela Syed. They will have a short training session on the basics of canvassing before heading out.
