    What: Town hall focusing on voting rights and the upcoming midterm elections. The program will include updates on efforts to protect voters' rights and safeguard our elections.     What: West Deerfield Township Democrats are writing Get Out the Vote postcards to Wisconsin or Michigan. They will provide the cards, addresses, and the message to write. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Please bring a pen; donation of postcard stamps would be appreciated.   • Fall Campaign Kickoff with Moraine Township Democrats

    When: Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 12:00 to 5:00pm (door knocking lasts roughly two hours)

    Where: Highland Park Democratic HQ, 474 Central Ave., Lower Level, Highland Park

    What: Meet at the Democratic HQ, pick up walk lists and candidate materials. Then knock doors to help get out the vote for Democratic candidates in Moraine Township. Volunteers can also bundle campaign lit for those knocking doors, as well as write postcards to swing districts in the office and/or take home to write.     What: A petition event co-sponsored by Vernon Township Dems and Wheeling Township Dems. Help Democrats get on the ballot for the consolidated local election in April 2027. Meet the candidates and sign petitions.

  • Tenth Dems Election Protection Meeting in Winnetka

    What: Tenth Dems Election Protection Team meeting to discuss election protection for Early Voting and Election Day within the 10th Congressional District, which includes parts of suburban Cook County, as well as parts of Lake and McHenry Counties.     What: At Ease in Nature: Nature Holds Our Stories brings together artists with a U.S. military connection to explore the ways nature can hold memory, witness personal experience, and offer space for reflection and healing. Presented by Brushwood Center, the exhibition brings together artwork, photography, and personal narratives from current service members, veterans, and their immediate family members and caregivers.
