  • “Behind the Mask” Masquerade Gala for Suicide Prevention

    What: A fundraiser to support CYN Counseling Center’s work providing education and programming for suicide prevention and mental health support in Lake County.   • Fremont Township Democrats Fall Cookout & Petition Event

    Where: Diamond Lake Sports Complex, 26543 N. IL Route 83, Mundelein

    What: Fremont Township Democrats sponsor a fall cookout and petition event with candidate petitions to sign and hand out. Completed petitions can be notarized.     What: All things political will be discussed, including upcoming Connection Canvassing opportunities as well as petitions. There will be a notary present.   • Winning Elections: Tips for Precinct Committeepersons and Grassroots Volunteers.

  • Deputy Voter Registrar Training in Libertyville

    When: Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 3:00pm

    Where: Lake County Central Permit Facility, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville

    What: Lake Dems is sponsoring volunteers to become Deputy Voter Registrars. The training session is conducted by the County Clerk’s office, and once you complete the session you will officially be able to register others to vote. Register here.

    There are certain requirements. You must be 18 years old and registered to vote in Lake County. Once you are trained to register voters in Lake County, you can register voters anywhere in Illinois. (Deputy Voter Registrars must be trained in their home county.)

    Voting is our most basic right, and helping others to exercise that right is an important contribution to our community. We hope you can help.
