Volunteer Spotlight
Lake Dems is grateful for our many active volunteers, including the following:
Eric Herman, an attorney and precinct committeeperson in Lindenhurst, began over a decade ago helping Lake County Democrats with the Election Protection Team, working to prevent wrongful voter suppression in Lake County. He quickly became a leader of the team. Eric now helps manage the day-to-day operations of all aspects of the Lake County Democrats’ robust operations. This includes leading meetings, directing our impressive Communications Team, and organizing fundraisers and other events (virtual and in-person).
Bonnie Berger-Neel is a Wildwood Precinct Committeeperson and a retired Quality Manager at Abbott. A longtime Democratic leader, including for the Warren Township Democrats, Bonnie helps make sure that doors are knocked, candidate literature is distributed, and yard signs are delivered in a critical area that encompasses many legislative and county board districts. Bonnie also helps us with fundraising and has helped lead the Candidate Liaison Team.
