Turning and Keeping Lake County Blue
Dear Democratic Friends,
Democrats in Lake County are on the move. We are recruiting and running candidates in parts of the county that have historically been solid red! We’ve strengthened our Democratic township organizations all over the county, and now they’re forces to be reckoned with. Our recent successful strategy meeting with Northwest Lake County-area
Democrats brought in new faces that had never before been to a Democratic meeting!
At the Lake Villa St. Patrick’s Day and Antioch Easter Day parades, Democratic candidates and volunteers were out in force, showing our banners and letting the public know we were there. The weather was cold but our hearts were warm and enthusiastic. And many in the crowd responded with their support.
The Blue Team has run and won local elections in the western part of our county, from the Cook County line to the Wisconsin border. In what is expected to be a tough year for Democrats, we must continue to work hard to inform Lake County residents about our candidates and convince them to vote for us. The foundational work we have done in each township will make a significant difference.
THANK YOU to our Democratic leaders all over the county.

Volunteer Spotlight
Lake Dems is grateful for our many active volunteers, including the following:
Susan Moore has been instrumental in building a strong Democratic organization in a part of Lake County that has traditionally voted Republican. Whether it’s serving as Antioch Township Democrats Chair, Precinct Committeeperson, or Antioch Public Library District Trustee (elected in 2021), Susan is always ready to serve. As a Deputy Voter Registrar and a notary, Susan’s talents and enthusiasm were a great asset during petition season.
