  • Safeguarding Elections in Lake County: A Community Panel

    What: Lake County Clerk Anthony Vega will hold a panel discussion on election integrity and the voting process. Panelists will include State's Attorney Eric Rinehart, and Mano A Mano Director of Policy, Joanna Jaimes.     What: West Deerfield Township Democrats present the 3rd Annual Maureen Wener Public Service Award as they honor the life of Maureen Wener, a dedicated volunteer in multiple Deerfield organizations, until her untimely death in June of 2023. Wishing to acknowledge such dedication to public service and honor Maureen’s memory, the West Deerfield Township Democrats established this award. Award Criteria: The award is non-partisan. Recipient must be a resident of, or work in, West Deerfield Township. Nominees have exemplified Maureen’s commitment to making the community a better place to live.
