On Saturday, July 17th, at 5:30 PM, join Lake Dems and Tenth Dems for “Let’s Talk Politics” in Waukegan during ArtWauk. We’ll have a conversation about politics and current events at our Democratic Headquarters, located at 118 N. Genesee St., in Waukegan. This is our first in-person “Let’s Talk Politics” since before the pandemic began – there’s a lot to talk about! Free admission. Open to Democrats.
“Let’s Talk Politics” is a moderated discussion that allows opportunities for Democrats in and around Lake County and the 10th District to talk about important issues of the day with each other and guests who often include elected officials, candidates, political analysts, and authors.
Interested in more fun before and/or after “Let’s Talk Politics” with us? Check out ArtWauk! ArtWauk is the monthly art event in Waukegan that celebrates the city’s growing art community. It takes place on the third Saturday evening every month. Neighboring shops and vendors in the downtown lakefront area surrounding the historic Genesee Theatre stay open, creating a festive atmosphere. We’ll have a great spot for it – the office is one-half block south of the Genesee Theatre. ArtWauk will be from 5 PM to 9 PM, beginning before and ending after our “Let’s Talk Politics” conversation.
