Primary Candidate Forum in Round Lake Beach

Where: Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center, 2007 N. Civic Center Way, Round Lake Beach. Live broadcast of the May 17 event will be on WRLR 98.3.
What: League of Women Voters of Northwest Lake County, NAACP, Round Lake Area Public Library, Mariposas Women’s Collective and Mano A Mano sponsor a candidate forum that gives community members an opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their positions on issues. Audience members can submit questions that will be moderated by the League. Spanish language interpretation services will be provided. Illinois Senate District 31 Democratic Primary candidates are Mary Edly-Allen and Sam Yingling.
