Pursuant to Illinois law, the Democratic Committeepersons for the 57th District, specifically Northfield Township/Tracy Katz Muhl, Wheeling Township/Mark Walker, New Trier Township/Dean Maragos, and Lake County/Lauren Beth Gash, will hold a public meeting on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 7:30 pm at the Northbrook Public Library, Pollak Room. The committee will cast weighted votes to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the term with a member of the Democratic Party.
