Help Win Over Wisconsin for Harris/Walz and Other Democrats
When: Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 3:00pm. Carpools will leave Lake County locations at 10:45am and return around 4:30pm.
Where: We’ll designate meeting points in Lake County for those wishing to carpool to Democratic headquarters in Kenosha. We’ll gather at the Kenosha County Democratic Party’s staging/training site before heading out to canvass in the area.
What: Win Over Wisconsin (WOW!), a Lake Dems project, in conjunction with the Democratic Party of Wisconsin (WisDems), to persuade voters to vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. This is also an opportunity to help Democrats hold the Senate and flip the House. Knock doors and speak with voters identified as undecided or leaning Democratic. What: Tips/Best Practices for Precinct Committeepersons and Grassroots Volunteers. The stakes of the election couldn’t be higher. Join us for a how-to for Lake Dems Precinct Committeepersons and grassroots Democratic volunteers presented by Lake Dems Field Director Andrew Katz, who served as Illinois State Field Director for the Obama campaign (and others). Talking to voters face-to-face is the single most effective way to persuade voters to support our candidates. Success this fall will depend on all of us, and the more people we get talking to voters directly, the more successful we will be. Open to Democrats.
