Lake Dems Presidents’ Day Fundraiser with Jill Wine-Banks
When: Monday, February 19, 5:30 to 7:30
Where: DoubleTree by Hilton, 510 E. Il Route 83, Mundelein
What: Due to popular demand, we have asked frequent MSNBC Contributor/Legal Analyst Jill Wine-Banks to speak to us again. And she said yes! Jill was so popular last year that the event completely sold out. We hope you will save the date and join us for this very special evening. Jill Wine-Banks will be giving us her insights into our national political situation and so much more. A former Watergate prosecutor, Jill is particularly well-equipped to discuss Trump and his legal woes. We’re sure you’ll want to join us.
Jill Wine-Banks is an MSNBC Legal Analyst, regularly appearing on primetime and daytime shows. A sought-after speaker, Jill appears before professional, political, women’s and business groups, universities and law schools. Jill has also written op-eds for NBC.com, the Chicago Tribune, The Washington Post, Politico, and the Huffington Post. Several documentaries and films have featured her, including Academy Award winner Charles Ferguson’s Watergate – Or: How We Learned to Stop an Out of Control President, Robert Redford’s All The President’s Men Revisited, ABC’s 20/20, and Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11.

Cookies and Conversation at Lake County Democratic Waukegan Headquarters During ArtWauk
When: Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00pm
Where: Lake County Democrats Waukegan Headquarters, 228A N. Genesee St., Waukegan (across the street from the Genesee Theater)
What: Please join us for another of our Cookies and Conversation events Saturday, March 16, at 5pm in Waukegan. This event is an opportunity to talk with like-minded Democrats about the 2024 election – and is an important step toward making a difference as we fight to protect reproductive freedom, save our democracy, and prevent gun violence.
We’ll meet at 5pm at Lake County Democratic Headquarters in Waukegan, 228 N. Genesee (across from the Genesee theater). This event is during ArtWauk, a festive monthly event the third Saturday of each month in Waukegan. Galleries and other venues in the Arts & Entertainment District, where our office is located, are open to passersby and celebrate the city’s growing art community.
We’ll be having these casual discussions throughout the year all over Lake County as we head toward the November election. Open to Democrats. To RSVP (or if you’d like to help plan or host a conversation in your area), email info@lakedems.org with “Conversation” in the subject line.
