Twice elected Governor as a Democrat in the red state of Kentucky, Andy Beshear is the incoming Chair of the national Democratic Governors Association (DGA). He’s also the former Attorney General of Kentucky. Governor Beshear has been called “a rising star” of the Democratic Party by The Washington Post, and in 2024 he was named to the “TIME100 Next” list of emerging leaders shaping the future and defining the next generation.
