Democratic Leader U.S. Congressman Hakeem Jeffries is set to be the keynote speaker at the IDCCA Brunch on Wednesday, August 13, in Springfield. This speech will be exciting — we’re looking forward to Leader Jeffries becoming the next Speaker of the House after the 2026 elections, when Democrats take control of the House! The IDCCA Brunch is considered one of the largest annual Democratic events in Illinois.
