Gospelfest Honoring the Life and Legacy of Commissioner Mary Ross Cunningham

What: Lake County Forest Preserves annual gospel music festival featuring Bobbi Lane with performances by Darlene Jones, Light of the World, Rose & Company, and Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. This year’s event will honor the life and legacy of Lake County Board Member and Lake County Forest Preserves Commissioner Mary Ross Cunningham, who passed away on June 23, 2026. Gospelfest was one of her greatest passions, and she helped grow the celebration into a cherished tradition. This free event is open to all ages. Food available for purchase from a local vendor.
