  • Tenth Dems Booth at India Independence Day Celebration

    When: Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Volunteer shifts are 9:30am to noon; noon to 3:30pm.

    Where: Mike Rylko Park, Adriane Johnson Bandshell, 530 Bernard Dr., Buffalo Grove

    What: A celebration of India Independence Day sponsored by the Lake County Indians Association. Volunteers are needed to help Tenth Dems sell buttons or greet voters. Or just stop by the booth, meet our candidates, and buy some buttons.

    What: Join us to knock on doors for Maria Peterson, Mary Mesa, and other Democrats up and down the ballot. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a fully charged phone. We’ll be out there rain or shine (democracy can’t wait!), so please dress for the weather. We’ll give you all of the training you need to succeed.   • Postcards to Wisconsin with West Deerfield Dems

    Where: Deerfield Potbelly Sandwich Shop (back room), 740 Waukegan Rd., Deerfield

    What: West Deerfield Township Dems are writing Get Out the Vote postcards to Wisconsin. They will provide the cards, addresses, and the message to write. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Please bring a pen; donation of postcard stamps would be appreciated.
