Lake County Democrats Training, “How-to for 2026: The Petition Process”

What: A practical training hosted by Lake Dems for volunteers, candidates, prospective candidates, and their staffs about the petition process (to get and stay on the ballot) in Illinois. Presentation by prominent election attorney Ed Mullen. With so much at stake in 2026, and petitions able to be circulated beginning on Tuesday, August 5, learning about this part of the campaign process is important and timely. 1.0 hour Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit available for attorneys.
